Until November 19th, 1994, this Cooperative was a subdivision of COONAPROSAL, R.L. In order to enter the formal financial market, COONAPROSAL restructured and gave financial independence to this Division, creating a new cooperative: COONAPROSAL AHORRO Y CREDITO, R.L.
The new entity functions as a Savings and Loans, providing credit to our associates in production, ranching, small industry, agriculture and housing. Among other services that this new entity offers are:
- Certified of Deposits (C.D.´s)
- Overnight Deposits
- Mutual funds
- Retirement funds
- Credit Cards, etc.
Since founded, one of Coonaprosal R.L.´s characteristics is the seek for benefits for its associates. Coonaprosal´s saving and credit department supports financially any option that will develop mango and papaya agriculture, meat and/or dairy cattle, salt production, shrimp cultivation, as well as home, health and consumer savings.
Also, Coonaprosal R.L. offers it own Coonaprosal-Visa credit card, as well as other services like seminars and social aid.
